So what's the difference between a local move and a long-distance move? Local moves are short distance moves within a city or to a nearby city that’s not more than 300 miles or 6 hours away. When you move locally with 24 Moving, you get exclusive use of the truck and moving crew that we assign to you so that they are with you from start to finish. That's a comforting feeling, isn't it?
How long will it take?
How long will your local move take? Anywhere from a few hours to a couple of days—it all depends on the size of your move and the services you request from us. Let us know what your timeframe is and we will complete your move within that time.
How firm is my moving date?
You've got a lot riding on your moving date and we respect that! We make it our priority to move you within the time frame you request because we know our customers moving dates are based on other factors like closing dates, lease expirations, work schedules, family responsibilities, and building restrictions. In other words, your moving date is etched in stone with us!
How do you charge for local moves?
We charge you an hourly rate based on how many movers and trucks we need for your move. Our rates are competitive—call around and you'll see. 24 Moving's trucks are all up-to-date and we make sure they have the latest safety features and moving equipment.
